Along the northern shoreline of Kaua’i the sun setting is an event for all to enjoy. On this Friday evening families, lovers, strangers and even the surfers stopped and watched in awe as the sun slowly dipped below the horizon. It was truly a sight to behold. As I set up for this amazing shot, I noticed a surfer drifting across my frame. Looking again, I realized there were actually two of them enjoying the sun set together, curled together on a single board. I suddenly couldn’t set up fast enough! I wanted to capture their essence.
