The rocky coastline of Maine in the summer is spectacular. At Cape Elizabeth sits the Porland Head Light, a beautiful working lighthouse guiding ships in to the Portland, ME harbour. With clouds sitting on the horizon continuously over the course of three mornings, I thought I'd need another day to get the perfect sunrise shot. Then without warning the sun exploded over the clouds, bathing the ocean and sky in beautiful oranges and yellows. This is Maine. Photo © copyright by Ted Davis.
