Limited Edition of 100
A blue morning along the Overseas Highway had me searching for simplicity. An elegant scene from which to bring forth meaning. I’d photographed this particular mangrove a few days earlier and loved the composition of the scene. As I climbed over seagrass and slowly drifted in to the cool ocean water, I realized that the lighting was sublime. Blue water, blue sky, and a blue reflection contrasted splendidly with a shock of green as the mangrove glowed in the light of the rising sun. However, framing the exact image to capture the scene eluded me. Finally I realized only a perfect panoramic could capture the elegant nature and complete solitude of the mangroves. Horizon to Horizon stretched the infinite ocean, a mangrove standing steadfast in a sea of blue. . Photo © copyright by Ted Davis.

Acrylic Glass Mounted Print, Ready to Hang
This is the premier presentation system for bringing detail, color and tonal range to life in a way that traditional photo framing cannot. In this process the face of the image is mounted to a 1/4" crystal clear acrylic, creating the depth and bold color gamut that is so compelling. An Aluminum subframe is then bonded to the back of the image, giving the feeling of a floating image. Your Acrylic Glass Mounted Print comes ready to hang with all the necessary hardware. (more info)
