Echoes of Galgano

Tuscany, Italy

Limited Edition of 100

Amidst the beautiful rolling hills of Tuscany and long cypress lined drives, are ancient ruins from a forgotten time. Built in the 13th Century, the Abbey of San Galgano was devastated by plague and natural disasters and the order of monks, unable to rebuild, abandoned the abbey in 1781. Within the ruins are cloisters, where old columns still support the sweeping walls and stone detail is still present around every corner. Setting up a beautiful panoramic, it was a marvel to photograph the old ruins, imagining monks toiling in the fields and meditating at prayer. Photo © copyright by Ted Davis.

Acrylic Glass Mounted Print, Ready to Hang

Acrylic Glass Mounted Print, Ready to Hang

This is the premier presentation system for bringing detail, color and tonal range to life in a way that traditional photo framing cannot. In this process the face of the image is mounted to a 1/4" crystal clear acrylic, creating the depth and bold color gamut that is so compelling. An Aluminum subframe is then bonded to the back of the image, giving the feeling of a floating image. Your Acrylic Glass Mounted Print comes ready to hang with all the necessary hardware. (more info)
